Afternoon started cloudy with continued west winds. Marking bait fish in 65-75 feet of water. The big fish are congregating below the thermocline, about 65 feet down. Best action was from 85-95 feet of water, starting at the thermocline and below. Large red dodger, 7 feet behind the ball, green fly brought in a number of fat cohos. These fish have alewifes hanging out of their mouths when we net them. The kevorkian down 90-95 feet, fished 60 feet behind the ball, brought in a handful of mid teen kings. Plastic dodgers, both green and white, 10 feet behind the dypsy divers with green or blue boy flies, fished 150-200 on the counter at a 1.5 setting was spectacular for all kinds of action from kings to cohos and even some nice steehead. Large clown dodggers with sparkle tape on one side, down 75 feet on the down-rigger with 12 pound balls, green flies, also a killer combo. For all the critters of the lake that are chewing.
